“I made this Audio Monument as a Christmas gift for my Mom. She’s such a universally adored person that I knew it would be easy to find people who wanted to say nice things, but what surprised me was how many people said the same things. How she’s a beautiful, effervescent, fun, adventurous wild child, and a mother to all. But I’m not sure she ever thinks about how much everyone loves her, which is why it was so important to show her.

When I presented her with this Audio Monument, we listened to it as a family - all sitting around the radio like back in the day. The whole time everyone was either laughing or crying, or both - even my Dad. Sitting next to her as she heard how much she means to all of us was so beautiful and profound - she was overwhelmed with gratitude. This was a gift for her, but I’ll remember that moment for the rest of my life.”
